Twilight Struggle Rules:
Twilight Struggle Overview:
World War II is over but a new struggle emerges between the US and the Soviet Union. This is not a battle fought with soldiers on a battlefield, but a cold war waged by spies, politicians, secret organizations, scientists, artists, and turncoats. Twilight Struggle is a two-player game that enacts this ongoing conflict of intrigue and political machinations against the two world superpowers fighting to proliferate their ideologies and way of life. Beginning in a ruined, post World War II Europe and continuing through the fall of the Soviet Union in 1989 players engage in the cloak and dagger world of Twilight Struggle. It is a card and unit management game that requires careful allocations of resources as players fight to exert influence around a map of the world. Event cards are included which depict specific historical events occurring between 1945 and 1989, and mechanics include the outbreak of potential nuclear war.
Twilight Struggle is a two-player game that takes 120-180 minutes to complete. It is recommended for players ages 13 and up.
