Overview:
Two to four players engage in galactic combat as either the Rebels or the Empire. This civil war battle pits the Galactic Empire in all of their might and ferocity against the Rebel Alliance in a battle for control of the galaxy. As the Galactic Empire, you hold a clear military advantage. But the Rebel Alliance, through cunning, strategy, and diplomacy can rally the planets for their cause, matching the might of the Empire.
The game system is based on different win conditions, with Rebels and the Empire each marching toward different objectives in the game. Imperial players command the entire army of the Galactic Empire. Storm Troopers, Tie Fighters, Star Destroyers, and even the Death Star are all at your disposal. Your objective: locate and destroy the Rebel base. If you subjugate and destroy worlds along the way, it is only a bonus.
The Rebel Alliance commands a much smaller fleet, dozens of troopers, T-47 airspeeders, Corellian corvettes, and fighter squadrons. Your raw might is no match for that of the empire, so strategic use of your forces is required. You must destroy resources, inflict maximum damage with targeted military operations, and steal vital intelligence all while trying to secure the backing of the other planets in a revolt against the Empire.
Playtime is 180-240 minutes, and the game is recommended for players age 14 and up.
